The Marineterrein transforms from a closed area to an innovative and future-proof city district with an international appearance. The vacant spaces are filled with organizations, projects and activities that make a valuable contribution to the ambition of the area. Everything that happens on the Marineterrein is innovative and sustainable and fits within the development themes: water, mobility, learning, living and health.
Office and workspace
In 2018, limited office and work space will be available for periods of at least 1 to a maximum of 5 years. Organizations looking for a rental property that are interested in helping the Marineterrein meet its development objectives can use this form to make their interests known. Note: the chance that your request is granted is extremely small, given the large number of registrations.
There are various indoor spaces suitable for meetings, dinners, media productions and meet-ups. Currently available are: the hall of the Commandantswoning, the monumental attic of IJsfontein, the VRStudio and the Vollaerskamer in Pension Homeland. Look here for more information.
The public space is suited for small-scale activities that are aimed at learning, making, testing and proving. Activities may not conflict with our house rules. For each activity, an application must first be submitted to Bureau Marineterrein Amsterdam. Sometimes a permit from the municipality of Amsterdam is also required.
From 2021 onwards, the physical development of the Marineterrein will start, including new constructions. At this point there is no further information available. The most frequently-asked questions about the developments have been collated and answered here.
Marineterrein Amsterdam will publish news and updates about these developments in its newsletter (Dutch). Subscribe via this link.
