Office and workspace
Marineterrein Amsterdam is transforming into an innovative international area that aims to make a positive and pioneering contribution to the issues of today and tomorrow. The area has a close-knit community of entrepreneurs, initiators, and organizations that is helping to guide this development.
The part of the Marineterrein that is currently owned and operated by the Dutch military is expected to become available for development in September 2018. As a result, new temporary residents are being sought for many of the buildings.
Possibilities to be announced in 2018
At the moment, very little is known about the vacant buildings and their current state. For this reason, we won’t be able to discuss the possibilities with potential candidates until January 2018 at the earliest. The most likely scenario is that the buildings will be rented out. The available buildings include a sports hall, a garage, a warehouse, an event building, a guest house, and several multifunctional buildings. The Department of Monuments and Archaeology at the Municipality of Amsterdam is currently determining the historical value of these buildings, which will help to establish the rental period.
Organizations looking for a rental property that are interested in helping the Marineterrein meet its development objectives can use this form to make their interests known. Future community members will be selected on four themes: digitization, sustainability, water, and sport. The core values of the Marineterrein are focus, innovation, and connecting.
