Sensiks creates multi-sensory booths in which people can receive treatment for trauma or anxiety. Sensiks uses not only video and audio but also smell, temperature, wind and light. The senses are stimulated in a way that users experience life-like situations. Sensiks cooperates intensively with Dutch healthcare organizations and scientists, such as the Philadelphia Foundation, TNO, Radboud UMC, Mentaal Beter and REshape. During experiments with the multi-sensory booth, (stressful) experiences and memories are called upon, to treat burn-out complaints or post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD) in former military personnel. Treatment in the booth can also help elderly and disabled people to promote quality of life.

Sensiks is part of XRBASE, an internationally known community of experts in the field of virtual and augmented reality.
